| MissionWorks (formerly known as Mission Main Resident Service Corporation) was established in 1999 by Mission Main Developer Limited Partnership as a nonprofit social service agency. Our mission is to create opportunities and provide support for residents to advance, through access to education, training and career development. MissionWorks assists neighborhood residents in gaining greater self-sufficiency for themselves and their families through education, job readiness and computer training, access to career ladder opportunities and public benefits, and elder services. We accomplish our mission by providing direct services on-site and through partnerships with neighboring institutions and community-based organizations. Originally owned and managed by the Boston Housing Authority, the Mission Main Housing Development is now privately owned by a partnership of Winn Development, Peabody Properties and the Mission Main Tenant Task Force. WinnPeabodyCruz Management Company manages the development. |
